Will has been teaching viola, violin, mandolin, and piano for 6 years. While focusing on establishing a solid foundation in technique, ear-training, and music theory, he also strives to highlight the multi-genre capability of each instrument in order to develop a wide palette of repertoire and performance capabilities for each student.

With students from all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds, Will enjoys helping everyone reach their musical goals and find a deeper passion for music. Currently, Will teaches Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Guitar Shed in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta, GA.

His private studio is currently full, but he is available for one-off lessons to those interested in a non-regular schedule. For those interested in weekly lessons, please reach out to my friends at the Guitar Shed using the form below.

A few quotes from past students and parents.

"Will is absolutely the best teacher we’ve worked with. In addition to being a very proficient teacher, he’s very patient, enthusiastic, and friendly! My daughter is always very excited about having lesson with Will, and is very motivated by his encouraging words to do her best. His lessons foster a love of learning music. I’m impressed, not only with my daughter’s progress, but also with her growing love of all things pertaining to music. Thanks Will, you’re the best!!"

"Will has been my violin teacher for over a year now. As an adult picking up a violin later in life; Will has been super patient with my progress / works around my job schedule. He is super knowledgeable, highly skilled, motivating, and and you can tell he loves what he does. Would recommend him to everyone 100%!"

"Will was excellent! My 13-year old thoroughly enjoyed his lesson. Will was prepared and spoke in a way that was easy for my son to understand. He uses many different techniques and a multi-faceted approach to teaching so that he can develop a well-rounded musician. My son can't wait to have his next lesson with Will!"

"As someone who had never played an instrument or even looked at music until I was 20, I love working with Will because he has been so patient with teaching, answering questions, and checking in. He not only make the class enjoyable but also makes me enjoy playing and learning music. We have set a pace that is more sustainable for me and I think Will does an excellent job following this so that it's not discouraging. He has also been very understanding of schedules and timing which I so appreciate. As an adult beginner into violin, I could not have had a better experience with an instructor!"
